How to craft amazing posts

Alright, listen up! It’s me, Jason, and I’m here to talk to you about how to create amazing organic content for your business.

First off, let’s get one thing straight – organic content is the foundation of any successful social media strategy. If you want to connect with your audience, build brand awareness, and ultimately drive sales, then you need to be putting out high-quality, engaging content that resonates with your target demographic.

Now, I know what you’re thinking – “Jason, I’m not a creative genius! How am I supposed to come up with amazing content ideas?” Well, I’m here to tell you that it’s not as hard as you might think. (And actually can be pretty fun) Here are some tips to help you get started:

Know your audience inside and out.

Before you can create great content, you need to know who you’re creating it for. Take the time to research your target demographic and learn everything you can about their likes, dislikes, habits, and interests. Use this information to inform your content strategy and create content that speaks directly to them. I love creating user personas. To create them you need to image your target market less of numbers and data and more like a real person. Example: Sally is 45, has 3 kids and works 40 hours a week in an office job. She loves her weekly date nights and is always looking for a great, romantic restaurant for her and her husband.

In the resources section at the bottom of the blog you can find a word document with an example user persona! Feel free to download it.

Be authentic and true to your brand.

Don’t try to be something you’re not. Your content should reflect your brand’s personality, values, and mission. Be authentic and true to who you are, and your audience will appreciate it. Reference your branding guidelines and marketing guidelines if you have them and if not maybe it’s time to start thinking about creating them. A brand guide is more than just about how to use your logo but usually is a document that has language to use, what kinds of photos to use, what kind of posts to use. We’ll dive deeper into brand guides in another post!

Mix it up.

Don’t just stick to one type of content. Mix it up with a variety of formats, such as photos, videos, blog posts, and social media updates. Experiment with different styles and see what resonates with your audience. Don’t worry about being perfect! Just get the content out there and you’ll start to see which types of posts work best!

Stay up-to-date with current events and trends.

Keep an eye on what’s happening in your industry and in the world at large. Use current events and trends to inform your content strategy and create content that’s timely and relevant.

Engage with your audience.

Your content should be a conversation starter. Encourage your audience to engage with your content by asking questions, running polls, or simply responding to comments. Show them that you value their input and appreciate their support. Reply to every DM and comment and beyond that go make comments on your followers and potential followers pages.

Remember, creating amazing organic content is all about knowing your audience, staying true to your brand, and experimenting with different formats and styles. So get out there and start creating!
